About the Best practice guidelines

Best practice guidelines for anaphylaxis prevention and management in schools

While these Best practice guidelines have been developed for schools, it is important for campsites to understand the school’s responsibilities.

The Best practice guidelines have been developed in consultation with key stakeholder organisations, staff working in schools and parents of children who are enrolled in schools. These Best practice guidelines aim to provide guidance and support to reduce the risk of anaphylaxis in schools while supporting students to participate in the full range of school activities, including camps.
