About the Best practice guidelines

Best practice guidelines for anaphylaxis prevention and management in schools and children’s education and care services

While these Best practice guidelines have been developed for schools and children’s education and care services, it is important for parents and carers to understand what schools and children’s education and care services should be putting in place to be Allergy Aware.

These Best practice guidelines aim to provide guidance and support to reduce the risk of anaphylaxis in schools while supporting students to participate in the full range of children’s education and care and school activities, including camps.
